Soundshaper vous offre un tour du monde d’une richesse inestimable : un survol aérien senti, texturé, véritable anthologie musicale puisé dans les archives du festival MUTEK, de ses débuts à aujourd’hui. D’une durée de 4 heures, il regroupe 56 morceaux provenant d’une variété d’artistes qui se sont produit à Montréal durant les 12 années du fameux festival.

Burningwave was an interesting project from our friend Benoit. The idea was to create a Dvd and a Cd to offer to people at Burning Man 2008. As the covers specified, people were encouraged to give the “artifact” they received – after watching it – to someone else in order to create a “wave” of generosity. At the same time a website was put in place to receive the comments and coordinates of people who got the objects, allowing everyone to “see” the wave expanding around the world. Unfortunately, only a few people wrote comments.
So the content is an intense minimal techno mix by Soundshaper and some specific visuals added on top by the CN crew. That year the theme was “The American Dream”. Please have a watch (full screen recommended) and tell us what you think ; )
