Satellite67.fm was born out a reflexion on the current state of the electronic scene but soon grew wider aiming at the large array of music styles we love and cherish. It is first and foremost centered around Soundshaper’s musical tastebuds. For the last thirty years of  vinyl collecting and dj-ing, he has acquired a vast knowledge in as many genres as funk, disco, drum and bass, breakbeat, synth pop, techno and all the dub roots  reggae  not to forget the modern sounds  heard in clubs.

Starting off as a three strong collective five years ago (Steph, Jacques and myself Franck), our journey has been a rewarding and fruitful one : a residency, some choice events, countless sessions, a slew of mixes and podcasts, a cache of souvenir pictures and mind blowing visuals, so much that we had to find a way of gathering and channeling all we had at heart. Hence the blog  that we painstakingly took time to flesh out before making it public.

From being a staple electronic night for many years constantly shifting and evolving, it has become our domain and in some ways our way of life. Join and rejoice  for we are here to stay.
